Kenneth Roy, Kentaro's father, has been in the Army Reserve since before
Kentaro's birth. Mr. Roy's responsibilities have thus far kept him stateside. Due to his various placements, Kentaro, with his mother Etsuko, his sister Yukiko (13) and
his brother Makoto (7), have lived in Idaho, Massachusetts, Washington, Kentucky, and now Michigan. Kentaro will graduate this year (2009) from South Lyon High School. He plans to choose
a university not far from his family. His family attends St. Joseph Catholic Church here in town. Crossroads Church
is thankful for Kentaro, for his violin talent, and for sharing his father with our country.
