LCPL Jeremy Singleton’s deployment
to …
Romania…
Began May 2, 2010, for the duration of …
3
months.
Jeremy’s specialty is …
Informational Technology.
He will be working with …
NATO partners in Europe.
Jeremy joined the Marines at the age of 23 with a background in business.
He is married to Wendy and their son Jeremy Michael is 14 months old. His maturity must have proved
to be an advantage, as Jeremy graduated boot camp with an impressive PT (physical training) score. He continues
his dedication to physical fitness, aspiring to become a certified physical trainer.
Joining
the Marines from the great state of Texas meant Jeremy would receive his Marine training at Camp Pendleton, California.
Texas remains home to Sherman and Singleton family members. The Dallas area may someday reclaim
Jeremy and Wendy, but not soon.
Having remained at 29
Palms California for 2 ½ years has allowed Wendy to pursue her nursing career at High Desert Medical Center in Joshua
Tree. On June 1, she will become a nursing supervisor at the Naval Hospital on base. Wendy
and Jeremy met at Twelve Oaks Mall while she worked at JCPenney during her summers home from North Park University and Jeremy
worked at AT&T.
Surprise interest … Jeremy is a master “griller.”
He even uses a mortar and pestle to custom blend herbs and spices to rub on his awesome steaks. Jeremy is looking forward to finishing college with a degree in finance
and going on to law school.Communication
with Jeremy will be limited to updates from Larry and Deb Sherman until Jeremy’s return to California in late August.
Jeremy’s
older brother, Jonathan, also joined the Marine Corp. He will soon be deployed for a second time to Afghanistan.
Please pray for:
Jeremy’s
successful mission work.
His peace while separated from his family.
Wendy’s new job and peace while separated from Jeremy.
Jeremy Michael’s consolation to missing his daddy.
Jeremy Michael’s adjustment to changes in child care arrangements.
